Scope – As a team member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and Sustainable Energy Developments, Kandey was subcontracted to perform the following tasks required for the installation of a new Vensys 1.5 MW wind turbine
- Site clearing, grading, access roads and staging areas for new wind turbine installation
- Cast in place concrete wind turbine foundation placed at existing grade over Controlled Modulus Columns (CMC)
- Placement of embankment materials over new turbine foundation to act as ballast
- Excavation, backfill and concrete encasement of new electric duct bank
- Cast in place switchgear pad
- Restoration of disturbed lawn areas
